What can I do with unexpected yoghurt?

(Anonymous) 2013-04-28 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
I've been given a large tub of natural set yoghurt. It isn't sweet enough for me to eat as it is and all my searching for recipes has basically only produced recipes for making your own yoghurt. Can anyone give me some ideas to narrow my search?

Add sugar or jam to eat it, or bake a cake!

There are also recipes with added chocolate, and you can add fruits in the batter if you want!

Frozen fruit, sugar and yogurt can make natural ice cream. Freeze and eat!

Honey. Preferably the natural stuff. This is guaranteed to turn yogurt into instant crack, I promise.

Add honey and mashed frozen fruit to make tasty yogurt, which you can then also churn and freeze for frozen yogurt.

Use some of it to make EVEN MORE yogurt.

Use it in place of milk in baking recipes.

Drain it until it's really super thick and use it in place of cream cheese to make cheesecake.

I like to add either fruit (usually berries) and granola to plain yogurt, or honey. The latter especially if it is Greek yogurt.

Fruit + yogurt + blending also makes for lovely smoothies.
