MY YAHOO IS INFECTED

I think my yahoo address has a virus, and has sent something out to everyone in my contact list, which includes some of you.

If you received something from me in the few days, please do not click.

Also, now I can't log into the damn thing - yahoo says I'm logging in from an unknown device, wants me to reconfirm by sending to alternate e-mail - which, oh joy, is no longer active either. So at this point I have no idea if the address has been fully compromised or if Yahoo's just being annoying as hell.

This happened to me a while ago. Unfortunately the email was completely compromised. I'd go and change your passwords to anything that was connected to that account as well. It may not be necessary, but my old Yahoo account was connected to my PayPal, and I realized quite quickly that someone was trying to use the password recovery function to my email to get into my PayPal. I quickly put a stop to that, but it was still scary.

I have already changed e-mail accounts on dreamwidth and AO3, but there might be other things it was connected to. No payment info, fortunately. It sucks big time, though.
