(Anonymous) 2013-04-30 04:51 am (UTC)(link)IDK... My family is really weird about bras. At one end, they think it's completely indecent to not wear one. I am the only person in my family who doesn't wear a bra to sleep. But then my mom hates when I buy bright colored ones, and she gets really angry when she sees them. Most of the time I just cover up anyway because it's not worth the screaming, but it's really fucking hot, what does she expect?!
I kind of feel like they think boobs are indecent by themselves? Maybe that's the cause, and anything that draws attention to them is improper. It's really weird because my family is not religious, nor conservative. I think they just kind of hate women. :/

That changed when one night, the underwire broke in the bra and stabbed me in the boob and actually punctured the skin. D:
