I'm with you. I'm an artist not a writer but the few times I mention I'd like a bit more exposure everyone always jumps down on me saying "Draw for yourself!" I draw for myself, but art is the only way I'm able to participate in fandom nowadays and when people don't even comment on it (yet I have a hundred of favs) it's just discouraging. I want to be a part of fandom!
