What's weird to me on tumblr is that it so often feels like people don't think anyone should comment - not the artists themselves, so much as the greater population of consumers who don't want any of that awful text cluttering up the stream of photos on their blog.

I don't get it. :|

But I'm sorry to see artists getting the shit end of the stick, especially when someone copies their style and ideas and then "dude chill the fuck out, take it for the compliment it is." Which is always shaky ground when it comes to developing styles, but there's usually a pretty clear line drawn between something practically looking ripped off and something looking ""inspired"".
