1. You're perfect man is an idiot? ;)
21. I recently made the big switch from reading mostly (ok, purely) Japanese manga to reading mostly American comics. I have no regrets! (But I do that look-down-on-anime-fans thing too.)

IN DEFENSE OF 1

Goofy isn't an idiot. >: He's a wonderful, caring father, kind to people who don't deserve it, absolutely adorkable, and a little spacey in the sweet cheerful sort of way-- but much more perceptive than Donald, because he's so mellow about everything. He's pretty much concentrated awesome in a klutzy package. <3<3<3

... No, I didn't write the secret. But I totally get where she (or he) is coming from. GOOF <3

I already know I'm not going to win this argument, but I'm stubborn, so I'm replying anyway.

He always came off as dim witted and slow to me. I didn't deny the fact that he's sweet and kind and all that, but I would never call him "perceptive."

He's not going to win any Nobel Prizes for sure. He's the kind of guy that surprises you with wisdom and perceptiveness when you least expect/want it.

Heh, I might be a leeetle bit influenced by his role in Kingdom Hearts; he notices things that Donald and Sora TOTALLY MISS (like Mulan being a girl pretending to be a boy-- cue "WHAAAAAT?!" and "He's a girl?" from the other two), mostly because he's not distracted by arguing or spazzing or being taken by surprise. As said, mellow.

Perhaps.. more emotionally perceptive than intellectually perceptive?
