why does the excuse "they were trolling" instantly put all the blame for being offended on the "trolled" party? why can't we remain reasonably angry at some one for something blatantly wrong, no matter WHY they were doing it? don't put it on the OP to be all "oh they're trolling, then it's okay"

No, I don't think what the applicant did is okay. I think treating whoever did this as a legitimate applicant for the RP and then writing an outraged secret accordingly is hilarious though.

I'd like to clarify that, though he does giggle like a bastard while trolling people, even Noodle wouldn't use those pictures as part of a troll after a recent horrific terrorist attack.

There is one huge reason for people actually legit believing these two are middle eastern.

it's called stupidity.

it doesn't immediately mean "troll!!!".

i think a lot of people in this thread are underestimating the massive ignorance of a lot of the world population. there are people who actually believe that the boston bombers are middle-eastern and have no idea wtf Chechnya even is. and they don't CARE.

is it easier to believe that someone is being a asshole-yet-clever troll rather than just a typical ignorant american? does that make it better somehow?? curious.

There's a good chance that OP was trolled, but OTOH, there's a bunch of people who fangirl over serial killers and criminals. And some of these people are into RP too. So... y'know, I wouldn't even be that surprised.
