But what were the results? Are you or are you not a changeling???

Of couuurse I'm not a changeling...

Did you also pretend you were Grandpa Sisko and get into an argument with the doctor and be like "You really believed I was a changeling!" and all about how it was an invasion of your rights

I think that would make the whole process a lot more fun for everyone

That's a great way to deal with things, OP. I hope you're okay and everything works out. Worst thing that could happen is that Starfleet find out that you are, in fact, a changeling.
