i just got done mowing part of the lawn and i am bushed and i just want to lay down for about 3 years

(yes, "part" -- the grass gets really high almost overnight and the mower's a piece of shit and i only have so much energy so i do it in stages)

Sleepy. I had to wake up at 5:47 am today and it's now 7:11 at Uni. Also, due to lack of bread, my breakfast is now nothing more than Coco Crunch packets from the local 7-11.

I want cooked bread... :(

Working on the research paper from hell all day. I honestly shouldn't be here right now.

I am bleh today

I feel your pain on the lawn mowing. We also have to do ours in parts, and last year the riding mower died so all we have is this little push mower that's a piece of shit. And the lawn is gigantic and the grass grows like crazy (our whole yard used to be a cow pasture so it's like super fertilized mega grass).

As for me, I am beat but it's a good kind of exhausted. Lots of outdoors time with plenty of sun and exercise.

Good luck with that lawn. My beta's beta dumped her so I'm filling in and am now wondering how I ever used her as a beta when her own writing is so ... well, not bad, but like ... awkward. And I still have over 30 pages left to review urgh

Didn't get a wink of sleep for 32 hours while finishing my last two research papers (I have this inability to finish things ahead of time, so when two major things are due at the exact same time, I always get crunched). Finally slept all afternoon today - felt absolutely heavenly. Only have exams from hereon out, which I'm pretty sure I'll do well on. And the weather is getting warmer!

Today has been pretty great. :3 I finished a thing for

tentaclebigbang and I've been talking with people on DW. So. Yay fandom! \o/!

And in irl news, I've not had to talk to my boss aaallll day, although in saying this I probably just jinxed myself and she's going to come bouncing in, fuck.

I turned in the last paper I will ever write for this program!!!!

Graduation's on Friday.

Now....I haz a beer.

I rescued the cat from durance vile at the vet's clinic. He had to stay there overnight for some tests, and was very glad to see me. And the test results were all OK, so that's good too!

Still got a week left before I have to mow (o joy of joys) weather depending but I finally finished raking up the worst part of the hayfield that grew up in the patch I left unmowed last year. As long as I mow that patch too this year, I should be gravy. And not have a hayfield on the back forty. When I don't even have a horse.

Foot pain, cramps (unexpectedly) and dr's appointment but Arrow and Supernatural soon!

Excited because I upgraded my computer! I can play current games!!

I bought Tomb Raider and freaked out when I played it on high settings.

..and now I have to do homework and work on actually finishing school, haha. But once I'm done, I think I'm taking a month off and just playing games and resting up.

I just took a lengthy hours-long trip up and down my area's "main road", stopping in at every store with a video game department to see if they had a 3DS kiosk set up, so me and my girlfriend would always know where we could get streetpass tags when we're out running errands, and eventually have some extra level 7 characters in Find Mii. :D

Sadly, only the Target and Gamestop had them (both Meijers and the Toys'R'Us had removed their kiosks, and the Walmart had a freaking FAKE CARDBOARD 3DS set up to look like a playable kiosk), and we forgot to check Best Buy. But along the way we ran some errands, acquired a couple very small pies for the evening's snacking, and I scored a pair of clearance sandals that fit my usual footwear criteria of "if you met these shoes in a dark alley, you would be afraid you were about to get stomped into the ground" despite being sandals.

And in case the above didn't clue everyone in as to how big a loseriffic nerd I am, I then came home and settled down to work on some cosplay stuff, only to find that the fabric I was planning on using had been peed on by a cat. :/ So laundry time now.

Tired and cursing Starbucks because I'm not really into frappuccinos but the new ones are so good I should not be drinking these :(

I got my hair cut today. It was fun. The lady who cut my hair was really nice too. Oh! I also slept in the library today. Apparently I was still really sleepy even after going to bed early last night.

I'm sick as a dog and still a bit sore from riding on Sunday. On the other hand, I made a delicious cake earlier and just watched an episode of Star Trek, so I'd say that evens things out a bit.

Tired. Been running around town meeting up with people before work/school/vacation/etc. force us apart again.

Hard to say--I found out I won't be getting the grant money I applied for and had two really difficult emotional conversations which kind of exhausted me and made me question my ability to maintain healthy relationships...

...but on the other hand, I made cookies and I went to my fandom's kink meme and found that somebody had been going back and writing super-good fills for old prompts of my absolute favorite no. 1 bulletproof kink (of which my fandom has very little). Including one that was basically a perfect representation of one of my most reliable personal fantasies.

So a little of everything, I guess.
