Awesome Stream 3: Scifi night, Part 2!
So! There was this one movie that sucked thanks to producer interferance: A scifi noir called "Dark City". The problem? They idiotically put a "big reveal" narration at the beginning of the movie which gave away the damn noir plot! Mystery's aren't good when voiceovers tell you what the rest of the movie is supposed to lead you to.
Thankfully, we aren't watching that cut! We are watching the directors version, that voice-over mercifully moved back to where it was originally in the movie (in the last quarter). This makes it much better!
Okay! Remember I showed you the "so bad it's good" Guyver and promised the second one was better? Guyver Dark Hero is up this saturday, and it's played completely serious! The downside is Mark Hamill doesn't become a giant cockroach. The upside is the monsters are no longer power-rangers reject diversity and there's no jive talk! Just action. Much, much better choreographed action (the aliens now do more then wave their arms and actually look like a 11 year old with brown belt couldn't take them)
