A few days ago, I had to go to court. I had to sit through a ton of cases before mine happened and EVERY defendant who was brought in from jail (including the one in my case) had a beard.

Mine was bald, too. But the other two had longish, unkempt hair.

It's proof that bearded guys and bald guys are no good.

Or that they want to look tough/don't care about personal hygiene.

Or are you implying Gandalf is evil?

Bald as in shaved bald or just balding?
I'm assuming the reason they had beards and stuff was probbbbbably because they were in prison where hygiene is difficult

unless this is a prison in like...the Philippines hygiene (at least keeping your hair short) should not be a problem.

I don't know about the others, but mine had a beard even before he was arrested. He looked exactly the same after having been in jail as he did before.

My only comment about bearded men was that Pa in the Laura Ingalls Wilder books had a thick, bushy beard, and he was a good guy.

However, Patrick Stewart is bald, and he seems like a dream.

Well, there was that time he was in blackface for a minstrel show and that kinda freaked me out, cause he looked a lot like my dad in the illustrations.

Pa was kind of crazy.

That doesn't prove anything. They haven't even been convicted of anything, for Pete's sake, they're still on trial, and you know nothing of their character. Innocent until proven guilty.

Mine plead guilty, and it turned out he'd been in trouble many times before. He was already facing a trial for something else the night he decided to go out and get himself arrested AGAIN.

Or it means that beards are in style right now. I can't walk three feet in Austin without seeing a dude with a beard.

Haha this is true.

I used to LIKE beards before I moved here. I still kind of like facial hair, but the problem with guys here is that they just let it all grow out and do NOTHING to it. If you're going to wear a beard you need to keep it trimmed and clean

When characters die and come back to life. It always comes across as a cheap trick for drama without the writer having to deal with the repercussions (either fan backlash or having to figure out how the other characters would deal with the loss long-term) of having a character die.(Unless the series is specifically about communication with the supernatural/undead and they come back as a ghost/angel/etc.) I have limited tolerance for characters being thought dead but turning out to be alive all along, too. Though it's okay every once-in-a-while when it's set up plausibly.

All I can think of is the witch scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Except that was an awesome example of false logic and yours is just stupid.
