My second job ended! For now (until I get another standardized test to score). TAKS ran out just a few hours ago. So I finally get to rest and relax which is great because I was getting really tired of coming home from work and going back to work for 5-6 hours every night.

After a month I finally started my job (at least paid training) - it was...a day.

Better than yesterday, which sucked. Today I can sleep in!

Ran some errands, had to get a new turn signal for my car. Other than that it was a day.

Saw Iron Man 3.

Met up with some of my best friends.

Managed to find a nice present for another friend's birthday.

Felt generally chipper.

Today was a good day.

I have no relevant comments about my day. Little bit of BS but nothing too bad.

Productive! I got my car inspected, picked up my medication refills, and went food shopping.

And now I have about a thousand words of fic to write for a big bang where the rough drafts are due tomorrow... so of course I'm here procrastinating instead.

I cleaned the house, ran some errands went way past the goal on 750 words, managed to write a little fiction, upgraded the firmware on my Blu-ray player, read some comics, and beat a game.

So, a lot of mundane things, but they add up to a great day for me (yay having the willpower/motivation and energy to do more than one thing a day! Whoo!)

Oh! And I started playing Neverwinter. I hadn't realized how much I missed/liked D&D-based video games, but I'm all nostalgic about it now.

Mostly meh to fine but for the last four hours I've felt so incredibly ill!

Worked, we had lots of coffee and pastries, I tried to go shopping after work. I was too tired.

Now I am going to play video games and watch bad tattoo shows on TLC.

2 hours to deadline on my research paper and I'm almost done. I'll probably be cutting it a bit closer than I'd usually like, but I should be able to make it.

...Okay, I wound up missing it by about 10 minutes, but I think I'm probably still close enough for it to fall within the margin of error.

I finally watched the Avengers movie. Liked the characters and action, hated the dialogue. I'd forgotten that about Whedon. -_- At least now I'm all caught up and can potentially watch Iron Man 3 whenever, if I am ever actually healthy enough and have enough spoons to sit in a loud theater with flashing lights and stuff for a couple hours. (I don't know WHAT I'm going to do about Trek, because I can't not see that. Not an option.)

Not too great - overslept, was generally stressed out and unfocused - but I got some work done and my friend and I mostly finished our Swedish translation of a game that we're making for another friend's thirtieth birthday, so not too bad either. Oh, and my roommate made us pizza for dinner and strawberries and cream for dessert, which was really lovely.
