Yes, this. Okay sure, there is *interaction*, but 90% of it is fandom. And fandom completely over-representing how shippable they are.

Heck, I initially watched the show because of all the hype. And then sat their scratching my head about what Sterek fans were going on about. Scott/Derek or Scott/Stiles is far more obvious in the show. ...but then again, fandom (or, more particularly, Sterek fans) seem to actively dislike Scott.

I can kind of see the Scott/Derek - or I can see how people see that, but I don't really see that. ...that is an odd sentence.

I was also one of those people watching the show and scratching my head in confusion about the characters. I felt like double checking to make sure there wasn't some other Teen Wolf production with dopplegangers or something.

I am not hugely into the fandom, and I am so happy that I haven't seen all the Scott hate. I've seen it mentioned, but thankfully the people I follow seem to just love everyone (if a strong emphasis on Stiles/Derek of course).
