(Anonymous) 2013-05-03 12:35 am (UTC)(link)I wonder if the people who don't like SVU 2.0 because he's not there would actually like it any better if he were still around after all the other changes were implemented.
I wonder this about myself. I watched mainly for the Benson-Stabler dynamic and was pretty upset when CM didn't renew his contract. I needed a little bit of time before I could watch the new cast and when I was finally ready, I just didn't like the show anymore. And I honestly don't know if it's because of Stabler, the other changes in the show, or a combination of both. I suspect both and I also suspect that I eventually would have been able to handle either one of those things but that all of it at once is too much for me.
