Maybe if you stop calling people assholes and dipshits we can actually take you seriously.

Many Tumblr users use the same expressions that are rarely used anywhere else and when they are, it's by those same Tumblr users. Yes, that is a virtual culture. They also engage in particular behaviors once unique to that site that have now spilled over into other places, such as AO3. That doesn't mean the people who don't use or like Tumblr have to like it when they see that happening.

I tried that angle, but funnily enough, no one did take me seriously. Because no one takes Tumblr seriously and if, god forbid, anyone speaks up in defense of it, it's a fucking free for all, let's mock the stupid Tumblr user, lol aren't they so funny trying to defend it

But you are funny trying to defend it. Not because you're trying to defend it but because of the way you're going about it. You're actually making a case against tumblr and every user on there.

Being aggressive, insulting people, and swearing at them is not only in my mind. Your behavior is perpetuating many of things people don't like about tumblr users. We're not on tumblr, we're on dreamwidth. And you come over here and treat people like shit and say it's because we're treating you like shit. Do you really not see the irony in that? Can you really not understand why you are both hilarious and pathetic? Are you really clueless about why many people dislike tumblr when the only representations they see are people like you?

What do you want, Tumblr users to wear badges signifying they are from the Other Side? "I agree with this secret OP, I think that was the best episode ever oh and BTW I am from Tumblr".

It's not fucking rocket science. The reason you see people bitching here is because you beat on them enough, they start speaking up. They have no reason to annouce themselves otherwise. I've never once seen a Tumblr user bitch and moan about DW the way people do here.

You're not the first tumblr user here to be a jerk to everyone just because you don't like that some of us don't like the expressions you use. Far from it. And it's old. It's boring. And no one would care if that stuff were confined to tumblr.

That's not how the internet works. I go on Tumblr. I go on FS. Some days I get wild and I might even Tweet! Don't think for a second that nothing you or anyone here does has ever annoyed someone else.

Since many of the people being jerks are anon, it's entirely possible that they are the first tumblr user here to be a defensive jerk over possible tumblrisms.
