Months and months ago there was a thread about hair being up inside your butt. And I laughed at that thread because I'm a mean person deep down inside and thought, "this can't actually happen." But it happened. Oh, did it.

And I felt like if I pulled the hair too fast, my butt insides would come out too (obviously, I know a lot about anatomy) and it was terrifying.

Reason of this TMI post: How does this happen and how do I stop it from ever happening again? Or has science not evolved enough to understand this phenomenon?

Wow, that is a particularly unflattering picture of Sean Bean. The hair is a similar color though!

Tell me about it. I thought it was a "new look" he's developing for a role or something. The hair color and scruff and the lines around the eyes were what made me think Sean Bean -_-.

To address some of your other concerns, your insides won't come out unless you have a really really loose asshole or you have rectal prolapse. (Don't look up rectal prolapse, it's not pleasant.) You probably should not pull the hair out very fast because hair can feel sharp - imagine being cut by a piece of paper, but instead of the edge of the paper it's hair. I wouldn't worry about it because few people have hair long and thick enough to make cuts. There's not much to worry about. Really!

Omfg this is the best thread.

I'm always afraid I'm going to cut myself with my hair somehow when it gets in... that position and I have to extract it. Having long hair is fun sometimes, but mostly just really annoying.

I think it says something that my first thought wasn't "OMIGOD PFFT BEST THREAD!" but "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT THREAD WAS MONTHS AND MONTHS AGO?"
