vast majority, really? what i've noticed is flirting, sure, but never an outright rejection. and when she DOES outright say no, he backs off but they continue spending the time together and progresses naturally. and usually she's shown having those feelings fairly early on and just not being ready. that doesn't mean he spends the whole series pressuring her into something. it just means she wasn't into some one she barely knew (makes sense) and later on is comfortable pursuing something with a close friend. what's wrong with this, exactly? if he IS pushing it the whole time that's one thing but i have yet to see this happen

Yes, this is what I usually see too. Or I see both characters having equally hidden UST that they both don't realize or are both unwilling to talk about. Wonder what shows this not-OP's been watching?
