I wouldn't have a problem with a dude admitting that he is more likely to read something written by attractive girls, but I guess a lot of people here would. So, yeah, I think you're sort of right about this.

But I also do believe that both situations limit the amount of quality writing the OPs (the real one and the hypothetical one) could read. This is not a position good for an avid reader who values literature for what it is rather than for what it gives them. No matter the gender of the author.
