I'm having an out-of-body experience right now... having spent most of my life being laughed out of comic shops just for being a girl, I'm now being called a "neckbeard" for being more invested in comics than the movies they inspire.

WHAT IS GOING ON.

Having said that though I think there's something really inherently sexist with this trend going on wherein anyone who disagrees with the decisions to eschew comic book canon in favor movie-made canon. It implies that the only people who could possibly be upset are people obsessed with comics, and that those people are all men. So. It's kind of weird.

we all know who you are so why go anon? you are so pressed about mandarin but get the fuck over it. it was racist if they went for the comic book route
