I agree with you on Catman, although I still like his character and Secret Six. I think it's fine to enjoy a series, while also thinking it has flaws.
Sigh, but do I love Deadshot. You have good taste OP. Does he even exist in the new DC universe?

Thanks. :) As far as I'm concerned, the Deadshot I like doesn't exist anymore. The guy with the same name in the new Suicide Squad may, at times, act arguably similar to the doucheburger royale I know, but he's nothing to me without his fantastic history (the dude escaped from the police just by kicking a rock once!), his psychological hang-ups, or his occasionally sleazy charm.

I realize it sounds like I dislike Floyd--at times I do, but I swear he is honestly one of my favorite characters. I miss reading his routinely well-written character and the excellent quality of some of his stories. Just seeing scans of the new DC universe and what they've reduced his character into in the purely exploitative new Suicide Squad honestly makes me want to throw up.
