Wait? Dangan Rompa or Off?

I'm confused about both to be honest.

Dangan Ronpa. I have no idea what Off is? Is that connected too since it's in the comments above too? I'm so confused with the fandom right now, I just read the Let's Play in December or something and glanced at the tag then but why all the sudden drama now :(? Did a famous crossover happen or something in Homestuck? We can be confused together, nonny.

Nothing happened really. From what I can see, a lot of people were already into Dangan Ronpa and Off (it's a indy game, actually) and when Homestuck went on hiatus they just had a lot more time to devote to these fandoms. And with them posting more about Off/Dangan Ronpa/whichever, a lot of their followers got introduced to these new canons, checked them out, and enjoyed them. There is just a small, vocal group of whiners, but most people really don't give a shit about what people fan or not.

I am guessing that there were a few Homestuck fans who read Dangan Ronpa and posted about it, and it kind of... spread from there. (Same with the game Off.) And it was compounded by the fact that Homestuck is currently on hiatus and so a lot of Homestucks are looking to get into new fandoms in the meantime.

I know that I found out about Dangan Ronpa from someone in Homestuck fandom who I follow on Tumblr.
