Re: Tons of OCs, or File Off The Serial Numbers?

I don't think too many people care that much if the OCs are only minor. They prefer canon characters because that's what they came to read about, but I really don't think they'll get such a massive hate-on for your cashier that they'll rage quit your fic over it.

That said, there are quite a few well-reviewed all OC fics (but set in the canon universe) in my fandom. Maybe you could do that? And point out that it's all-OC cast in the summary, so people will decide before they even read it whether or not it's for them.
