But at least Steve/Tony makes a lot more sense than Clint/Coulson? I'm not saying that makes it a "better" ship, I personally enjoy reading Clint/Coulson more than Steve/Tony. But Steve/Tony has pretty much been THE Marvel slash ship for decades, the comics ship-tease them non-stop, and even if you don't ship them they're incredibly close, so I get where people are coming from.

Makes since in the comics, sure. But I'm not a big fan of the comic/movie overlap in general, and the fact that MCU!Steve/Tony has, like, no characterization* beyond some top/bottom tropes is really annoying.

*In most fics, I should say. I won't say I haven't read some good ones, but those suckers seem to be few and far between.
