Yeah, I can see why you keep silent. Being a twin has probably given you some extraordinary perspective on the character -- which is good -- but I think you're right to worry that some people will be too quick to equate "the characters you create/bring to life in the RP" with "who you are as a person".

The only option other than silence might be to edit details. Say you're an only, or admit that you have sibs, but don't mention you're a twin.

Probably smart, OP. ASOIAF fandom is the most judgemental, bitchy fandom I've ever met, so you're probably safer that way.

A great many people cannot seperate themselves from their RP character which is of course how alot of really bad relationships start through RP. But from the point of view of a writer, I can understand about touching those hard themes. Just because you write a rape scene doesn't mean you support rape, it just means that it goes into plot points and/or it involves the character and a vital important lesson. Granted, there are other better ways to make a character grow however a good writer can write something convincingly without becoming prey to it.

I admire you for being alble to RP Cersei and to seperate yourself from your character.. it speaks much of your character.

I feel ya, OP.
I really wonder why so many people are okay with loli, shota and rape fantasies in RPs, but as soon as incest pops up people are all like "omg I'm sure you don't have siblings and if you do, you probably want to fuck them".

It's like... really? This is where they're drawing the line?
This is where shit gets personal all of a sudden? Pfff.
