Food Thread

Well, I like food, so I thought I'd ask - what did you eat today, fs?

I had oatmeal, a metric fuckton of black tea, and a chocolate mint cookie. I'm debating noodles and peas for dinner because, well, good lord, I loves me some noodles and peas.

A bacon sandwich for breakfast.
And a Carolina style pulled pork sandwich with hushpuppies for dinner.

I can't get enough of pulled pork. Love it.

Oh man, now I want hush puppies. With ketchup because that's how I roll.

I had a couple of pieces of toast for breakfast, and a burrito for lunch.

It was okay. I don't know. I wasn't crazy about it. It wasn't a great burrito. It was pastor, maybe that was a mistake and I should have gone with steak. Eh.

Not sure what I'm going to do for dinner.

Toast w/ peanut butter and coffee for breakfast, a fruit smoothie for lunch, and I've got pizza cooking for dinner!

I'm not sure how it's translated. "Oven cheese?"

You put it in the oven wait until it melts and then eat the fuck out of it with baguette. It's great.

I'm having cheese sticks. The package says to cook them in a conventional oven on 425 for 3-5 minutes but the air conditioning is on so I can't turn on the oven. I put them in the microwave on high for 2 minutes and they turned out ok, about as well as frozen cheese sticks from the grocery store ever turn out, anyways.

I just made some cheese rolls! They didn't turn out quite like I'd hoped but they're still really tasty.

Earlier I had some hot dogs that I needed to use up. I wrapped them in tortillas with spicy brown mustard and cheese.

Then I had a green tea frappaccino. I should not have done that but Half Price Frappaccino Week is the only time I get them, so THERE.

In a few I'm going to make turkey taco meat and mix it with brown rice.

A hashbrown with greek yoghurt for breakfast, some kettle corn chips and a chocolate muffin for lunch, and then toast with cheese & salami for snack, and a small bit of bratwurst, that instant beef rice, and some green beans for dinner.
Going out to sushi for dinner so I had to resist getting any fast food, but after this I have a sweet Chipotle coupon I can't wait to cash in.

MacDonald's quarter-pounder combo meal.

I regret everything. but it was so tasty, and salty, and greasy. And now I'm debating whether or not to fry an egg in some tomato sauce and rice. Like, if I'm going to pig out, I may as well pig out of this world.

A pizza roll, Pop Tarts, and three different kinds of chocolates.

(I am currently discovering the joys of having a job and buying all my own groceries.)

Turkey burger with pickle and turkey bacon, three slices of pizza, and what had to have been a GMO banana, 1/2 glass of soy milk, and a litre of lemonade to keep hydrated as I was cleaning up outside. Oh and a bottomless cup of coffee.

For dinner I had baked potatoes, broccoli (I made way too much broccoli oh man) and on top, I sprinkled bacon.

Except two of the bacons were burnt. I burnt them Saturday night when I cooked them and just tossed them in the bag. And forgot them when I crunched them up. Everything tasted like char. I had a sads.

The res of what I ate today was boring. I did drink about 5 glasses of kool-aid.

From a local business, I had a well-done cooked hamburger, dry, with all the veggies and a gigantic order of cheese fries. It was delicious and greasy. And hit the spot.

For dinner, I had leftover spaghetti w/squash cooked in butter. It was good too.

Cinnamon seems to help my digestive problems, but the cinnamon bars I'd been buying lately had been out of stock, so I decided to try improvising. Got some cinnamon roll pop-tarts and tried various toppings on them to boost the calories involved, plus sprinkled more cinnamon on top.

So all told, today I've eaten about a pop-tart and a third, spread alternately with Nutella and cinnamon, peanut butter and honey and cinnamon, mocha cappuccino spread, and mocha cappuccino spread with honey and cinnamon. I was not expecting that last to be good, but it was surprisingly so. Also a couple spoonfuls of Talenti double dark chocolate gelato with some slightly warm mocha cappuccino spread on top, and a peppermint patty. (This is actually more than I've been eating in a day, so I think the cinnamon IS helping.)

Bowl of cereal for breakfast, nibbled for lunch, and a chicken katsu plate lunch for dinner.
