Re: OP de-anoned
I d/led a copy form the library. I literally JUST figured out I could do that. (-:
Re: OP de-anoned
I don't use e-books, but I'm glad we're starting to offer that.

Re: OP de-anoned
It's okay, I managed to get a kindle copy, but I'm really bummed that I don't know where the book is (I've found I much prefer paper books, to be honest.)
Re: OP
Victorian London where vampires and werewolves are relatively common and have social status (so long as they don't just murder people willy-nilly). The main character was born with a certain "defect" that means when she touches a super-natural creature, it becomes human for as long as she touches it. From there it's political intrigue, mysteries, lesbians in Victorian menswear, fancy hats, dirigibles, an acting troupe, and some werewolf romance (not the drawn-out over all five books kind. The kind where we get a settled couple being a settled couple, because will-they-won't-they gets old).
(And as far as it getting "gayer," there are actually more LGB(Q?) characters in the main cast than straight characters. But it's not primarily a romance, so it's not the focus of the books.)
Also, there's a great teen-series prequel called Espionage & Etiquette that's about a finishing school for young ladies training to be spies. It's pretty fantastic too.
Re: OP

Re: OP
Younger character is freaking adorable.
