Well, the fic that interested me in the genre is in TDR fandom; it's an 5-way pairing and one of them--Blake--isn't a serial killer (so it involves Stockholm setting in). It's more porny so don't expect much gore or detailed victim description (it's light on the details about that but some details are present). Here's the link: http://archiveofourown.org/works/551480 It's more exploration about Blake being integrated into the loving serial killing family. I think it's creepy as hell, esp. in places, but that's why I like it.

This one is more serial killer-ish (they'e not called that and it's kind of hard to describe) http://archiveofourown.org/works/362195 It's Hawaii 5-0; Steve/Danny; and about a mutated zombie virus infection; it's creepy and dark as hell. I remember loving it when I read it a while back.

There's not a lot of them I've found unfortunately, esp. good ones. :(

I love Minerva's writing! Though I didn't get into that one because there were too many characters (I can only follow like 4 in a pairing at once).

Yeah, me too. :) I still haven't worked up the nerve to read her Collector fusion though. I'm camped out every day waiting on the next part of the fic she's currently posting b/c I'm too impatient to wait until it's finished. :D

Yeah, the 5 way pairing pushes it, but I got into it anyway just to see how someone would write a 5 way pairing. I thought it worked, for me at least.
