$3.50 in American dollars for a gallon (American) of gas.

And you need a car to get around what I live because the buses are iffy and there is no other way except for taxi which is out of the question for every day use. Forget about using bikes. Bike paths are non-existent. You would have to drive on the streets with car traffic.
