I really recommend them; I had zero interest in Hawkeye and they're really good; I've heard them described as being an indie comic in the Marvel universe, which is a really solid description. Plus, you need zero background knowledge, just know that Clint Barton is Hawkeye and he sometimes shows up in the Avengers. That's about it.

I've started to collect individual issues, but I know they've put out a trade paperback..
