Honestly I don't even pay attention anymore. It was like $3.40 something the last time I filled up. I seem to remember gas being a bit cheaper in Texas compared to other parts of the country but that's just because oil comes from here maybe? Polluting the shit out of the Gulf of Mexico is just a small price to pay for slightly cheaper fuel

we don't use the oil that we get for ourselves, though. We get the same gas as everyone else. Gas is cheaper here because the cost of living is cheaper.

The proximity of refineries probably helps. Probably has a lower gas tax built into the price of gas, too.
