It's not that the post made me think I must be a-okay because I don't share all her symptoms, but that actually my symptoms might be stemming from another cause from hers because the results are so drastically different.

I think I see what you mean--and it might have helped you narrow down the real possible causes of your distress, which can only be good.

For myself, the comic kind of rubbed me the wrong way because like the other person who responded to you, I'm depressed, and yet that's not my experience of depression. So I didn't want you to take away the impression that your symptoms were trivial because they weren't exactly like the ones depicted there.
