It's been hovering around $3.30/gal (US) around here. Depending on the town and gas station, it can vary by 2 to 20 cents or so, though. Cost of living looks to be about $44k/year, if I'm reading this right, and the minimum wage is $7.25/hr. (I only know because it's up in huge font on a poster in the break room where I work.)

Most people drive around here, but there are fairly reliable city busses, though they don't come around often enough to be a reasonable commute option for most people. I do see people biking, though more around the campus than anywhere else, and most are athletic bikers, not commuting bikers.
