I don't think you can ever be too late into Doctor Who fandom though. There's so much content that I think it's perfectly understandable when people aren't familiar with all of it, and it's totally okay to jump on-board at any time. Me, I started at 10, and I'd like to go backwards at some point, but I'm in no rush.

And from what I've seen, nine definitely does have his own fanbase! But ten is just insanely popular all over the internet so I always feel like ten is the most popular of the new Doctors.

And no one should look down on you for having a different character preference. Frankly that's idiotic and immature.

IDK if I love Clara, but I certainly like her. Sometimes quite a lot. But I don't even begin to trust Moffat either so I'm not expecting this to always be the case.
