8. I LOL'd! ...And I agreed. Ah, I like to call it the Ugly Prince Syndrome. I have yet to meet a Beauty and the Beast fan who didn't suffer from it -at least the friends I've talked about with that do. My mom never understood why I covered my eyes in horror whenever I watched the transformation scene D:

20. Funny enough, when I read the manga I thought Johan would have most of the fangirling. All the people I know who are into Monster prefer Tenma. I have no clue how the actual fandom (if it exists) is like, though.

Monster fandom? From my experience is small and, if you're a huge fan and would hate to see the characters butchered in fics, generally best avoided. I've yet to see it written well, sadly. I would love to be corrected if well written work exists.

I've never looked for fic because the story was so satisfying and complete for me. The only time I've ever felt the urge to write was when I thought about Karl and Dieter in the aftermath; what their lives may have been like.
