I love you.

Ed's scars and automail absolutely fascinate me. I love studying art that shows where automail meets flesh.

I have scars myself and I was very self conscious of them until I got into FMA. Ed kicks ass, scars and all. His character has helped me accept my scars and grow to like them. If I had the chance, I wouldn't remove them now. They are reminders that I'm a strong person and can over come adversity. I fucking love them now.

and they make me look badass.

I think my own scarring has some part to do with it, too - FMA helped me overcome quite a few things I was self-conscious about actually... but yes, there's no reason to be ashamed of them, especially because they are a part of you and in a way, tell a story about your hardships. I'm glad you agree with my secret, and happy to see the series improve someone else's outlook as well.
