Describe what the stupidest fix you've ever written was about! And then commiserate or point and laugh at each other!

Self insert things,mostly,where i screwed over all the good guys and ran off into the sunset with the villain /not sorry.

I'm going to be honest, the dumbest fic I've ever written was for Teen Wolf and it's full of ~pack mom Stiles~ and pack feels and all that shit. Sadly, it's my most popular fic so I don't want to delete it. :<

My first fic was about the Trio going to kill Voldemort, who then got angry at them because he was in the middle of baking a pie.

To this day I believe it was brilliant, just poorly executed because I was eleven.

Luckily, I've never written any self-insert (not my cup of tea, really). But I did write a very weird Victorian!zombie apocalypse fic. The dumbest part, I'm afraid, was its grammar and sometimes spelling.
But it also had volatile oils of a non-existent tree species as a reason for the revival of the dead. The tree came out of the blue and was unique. I feel so dumb recalling this work.

I wrote a fic in which I used a subculture I didn't even know that much about at the time. Pretty ooc and pretty much sounds like what any young weeb thought the subculture was like when it was actually pretty different.
Thinking about it makes me feel so ashamed since I've actually been in that subculture for a while now.

I once wrote one chapter of a DBZ/WoW fic.

The dumbest fic I've written was probably that one where a doll sized Thor was force fed pre-chewed pretzels by a little girl.

A "lol so randum!!@!" fic that was absolutely nothing but unconnected sentences that made no sense. "Ivysaur ate 5840838052 pieces of cheese. Then Goku danced on the moon", that sort of thing. My 11-year-old self considered that to be the height of humor. ._.;;

Hey, I was 11...

I wrote smut for 4chan that involved spiderman and the power pack. Yes, the grade school superheroes.

I'm not sorry.

I have... god, thousands and thousands of words of script-format never-to-be-completed mostly-scifi megacrossover. It's not as stupid as it was in its first draft, since I brutally chopped off some of the really pathetic attempts at h/c and general seriousness and left only the humor/parody, but it's still embarrassing when I'm bitching about other people's megacrossovers.

But it's still up, because I think some parts of it are hilarious.

I wrote an number of dreadful Harry Potter parodies and published them under sock accounts.

One in which Snape tries to come to terms with the fact that his only daughter is a Mary Sue. The twist: in the end, her long-lost mother finally shows up, turns out to be half goblin and is so completely non-sueish that everyone concludes Snape's daughter must have inherited her Sue genes from him. Then Snape washes his hair, puts on a sharp suit, and everyone is in awe.

And another one, in which Harry travelled back in time and accidentally became Voldemort, Hermione followed him and became McGonagall, and they both became Snape's parents. Dumbledore is Snape from the future, Obi Wan Kenobi makes a guest appearance, and then Ron kills everyone.

I did a lot of drugs in my youth.

I wrote a Ginny/Popcorn popper fic once. That was interesting.

I also wrote a Gravitation fic way way back when. It contained the wrong use of "break" over and over again.

I also trolled my friend and posted crack!McFly fics on the net as I hated them. They got popular. I was so confused.

When I was 12 I wrote an "epic" Transformers/Cardcaptor Sakura crossover, where Sakura gets hit by a bodyswitching ray gun that makes her switch bodies with Soundwave, and then they have to go on a quest to get switched back, and Sakura falls in love with a magical robot-alien-thing that turns out to be the reincarnation of Aragorn from LotR.

It was the literary equivalent of Rob Liefeld's art.

A modern-day AU Inuyasha fic with plot points loosely derived from the song "A Horse With No Name." And by derived, I mean a fucked up 14-year-old thought way too long about why somebody would be wandering through the desert on a horse with no name. Oh, and it was a fucked up hurt/comfort fic shipping my fucked-up self-insert and Shippo. And it is rife with random weeaboo Japanese.

I mean, Inuyasha was my first fandom-fandom, and I had a mad-stupid crush on Shippo, and I was at that age/maturity where I knew about horrible shit but didn't quite have the empathy developed to actually deal with it in a way that didn't scream that I was some idiot kid. I wrote a lot of stupid self-insert fics, but this one is probably by far my most embarrassing.

When I was 11, I wrote this epic-length Charmed AU where they had no powers. It started out as Piper/Leo but they were kind of boring so it ended up being mostly about Prue. I had at least 100 chapters (lol, short chapters) before I abandoned it.

I wrote two chapters of a Neopets fanfic once. Something about an Aisha pirate. Do not even ask me why I don't wanna think about it.

A godawful combination of self-insert and "lol so randum!!!!" To give you an idea, the self-insert was actually a metallic cheetah, who kidnapped Harry, Hermione, and Ron and forced them to go on a quest for the Pen of all Power. And also flirted with Harry.

Thirteen-year-old me thought it was the height of comedy.

Well I've written a lot of dumb stuff, but I guess you could say the dumbest was all those self-insert crossovery crack fanfics I co-authored with a friend when we were about 12. I don't remember much of it, just that our quest was to stop an invasion of evil cutlery and I married Tom Riddle at some point (my friend married Draco).

I don't actually regret it since it was fun as hell and we never posted any of it on a proper fic website or anything massively embarrassing like that. In fact, at the time, I didn't really even consider it fanfic of any sort, just some weird shit we had fun with. It surprised me when I found out years later that the friend I'd written it with also knew what fic was and read it.

A short self-insert where it was discovered that Optimus Prime was the truck Kylie was all over in the video for "Red Blooded Woman". Yeah...
