Yeah I guess that would be the reasonable thing (though fun fact: she adressed me by my name in the note, but only signed it with "your neighbor", so I'd have to go and check the door which is in the front building), but part of me is like... You know, she said she'd come over if there were problems again. And reacting to this passive aggressive bullshit like it's a valid form of complaint, that makes we want to block my ears and go all "Lalala I'm not noticing you're trying to annoy me". I know it's childish *sigh*.

She's not being a mature adult either, if she did put that alarm just to annoy you without confronting you first or sending you another note, if that can comfort you. Maybe she is genuinely bothered or maybe she's one of those neighbours who can't bear the sound of anything - the important thing is to try and nip this noise war in the bud!
