i agree, but i think the point is that the don't want to ruin their internal sense of the characters by knowingly watch it get all jossed by the canon, and i understand that

plus like the above user said, i've seen a lot of porn that feels extremely in character, save for the little tiny fact that it really would have no chance of happening canon heh but everything else feels there
