Never heard of the first one, sorry, but I love the Animaniacs. are they similar concepts? What about the Animaniacs annoys you?

Man, that show has NOT aged well.

(Anonymous) 2013-05-11 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Which one?

(Anonymous) 2013-05-12 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
Animaniacs (I got my wires crossed and somehow thought the other characters were some weird rival/ripoff from the same show. I forgot the Mask cartoon even existed.)

Really? Some of the pop culture references are a bit dated, but you could say the same thing about Looney Tunes. Animaniacs is still a pretty smart, witty show, written as much for adults (and apparently California natives?) as for children.

Eh, maybe I just caught a couple of the lamer episodes then - I saw a rerun on TV a few days ago and was like "Huh, I loved THIS as a kid?" They were fairly reference-heavy ones, though.

I pretty much dislike all of the Slappy Squirrel episodes. I love Slappy herself, but I want to smack Skippy Squirrel upside the head. He really ruins any joy I might have from her episodes.

Some of the ones from 1996 and on are a bit weak, but the ones from 1993 are usually pretty solid. And all of the episodes are pretty referential. The various Beauty & the Beast episodes are terrible.

Is this a trolling secret? The Goofalotatots only existed in the world of The Mask and was the world's biggest in joke considering Rob Paulsen voiced Stanley Ipkiss.

Seems like it.

I'm just gonna take a moment and boggle at the fact that there's a The Mask: The Animated Series secret. I thought everyone forgot that show existed.

I adored that show. c:

Same, it was the funnest show!

(I blame it and Freakazoid for my weird sense of humour, though.)
