Everyone says Evernote is the greatest thing ever and they would die in a pit of disorganized despair without it, and when you ask what it does, they say, "Everything!"

OKAY IMMA TRY IT BUT I STILL DON'T REALLY GET WHAT IT IS

Does anyone here run their life with Evernote? WHAT DO I DO?

I tried to use about 4 years ago and it didn't make any sense to me. It just wanted all of my personal info and then it would do something with any notes I gave it to do something with as long as I granted access to my phone and all the apps on it and authorised Evernote to send emails on my behalf.

Evernote is where I put all my fandom secrets I need to make in a big fat numbered, yet unordered, list :>

Also where I leave brief frameworks of original stories I'm working on (things like characters, who they are, histories, rules of a world, etc.). As a mostly mobile user of it, I find it's handy to have a spot for that info to be called up whenever. I also make a new note for plot bunnies before I forget them ("I'll write it down later" is me lying to myself).

I have no idea how people use it as an organizer of daily things tbh, and it's pretty shit for "bookmarking" anything.
