Favorite fictional media reviewers/bloggers

Do you guys have any kind-of-well-known reviewers (as opposed to, say, that random fandom friend who does reviews on their LJ for their flist) that you follow and really like?

I really really enjoy Linkara, from That Guy With The Glasses. His Let's Play is awesome too.

I also really love Stephen Lloyd Wilson from Pajiba. His reviews are incredibly insightful even when they're very brief, and incredibly non-annoying/narrow-minded, even when I completely disagree with him.

Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation. He is super amazing, and always funny. Part of his schtick is that he hates everything, so when he actually likes a game it's like a signed note saying "HEY TYGER, YOU WILL LIKE THE FUCK OUT OF THIS GAME."

The only thing that bothers me about him is that he generally doesn't really like RPGs, which are kind of my favorite thing ever.

I really like Yahtzee even for games I might like. Because it feels like he really emphasizes the shitty parts of games, so if I think "Oh I could deal with that" then I'd probably enjoy the game. Same with RPGs; if he's like "Oh I hate x y and z" and it's standard to me, then I'll be interested in the game.

From TGWTG, I watch the Nostalgia Critic, Nostalgia Chick, and Todd in the Shadows. I like Spoony's new videos, too; at least his FF and Ultima ones.

I stopped paying attention to Mark Reads/Watches for a long time, but then he went and decided to read the entirety of the Tortall books and I'm really enjoying his posts on them.

I like Linkara too! He's excellent. I also like Obscurus Lupa.

Also, I have a ton of respect for Diamanda Hagan, and I adore her reviews of things with... lighter subject matters. I'm just sad that I have trouble watching most of her reviews because of how gory the films usually are.

I'll have to say Jacob over at Television Without Pity. He writes "recaps" that are more like in-depth analyses of episodes/seasons, often with comparisons to literature and mythology, and his writing is so good I actually keep files of quotes from his recaps.

He's written recaps for Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica and True Blood - possibly others too,but those are the ones I'm aware of.
