Tales of Xillia is coming out in english this August! It' apparently comming out the same day as Dragon's Crown, I guess.

And I think Graces f illustrates how OP might feel about anime games very well too- it has great characters and an awesome battle system, but if someone already dislikes the anime style will probably not look too well on she shoujo flowery style of the cover art.

Ah, man. I hope that doesn't hurt either one's sales. I was already going to buy Dragon's Crown no matter what, so that just means Xilia's lower on my list. No wonder I wasn't sure though--for some reason I thought it was Xillia 2 already, but you reminded me that was announced recently in JAPAN, not here.

Yeah, especially for Graces. Vesperia's got cel-shading and a fairly neutral cover going on, so the anime style isn't as... inaccessible? IDK how to put it. For some reason I just remember them in different categories, but it's probably because a lot more of my friends played Vesperia versus Graces f. Maybe the fact that we only got the 360 version, too.
