IDGI either, that scene was obviously meant to be funny. I don't know why the fandom interprets all Stiles/Lydia stuff as creepy.

tbh I think a lot of fandom calls them creepy in order to create an objective reason for why Stiles can't be with her (and therefore can be paired with someone else with whom he might not have a canon crush on).

I think it was meant to be funny but was too over the top for me to find humor in it. I don't know, when someone I've made clear that I'm not interested in them continues to pursue me and goes as far as to try and win me over with extravagant gifts....I find that creepy.

I found it sort of adorable in a stupid teenager way. Like, he's trying so hard and it's blowing up in his face and I just feel bad for him! I can see where Lydia may have found it sketchy, but we know a lot more about Stiles than she does, and I'm pretty sure we weren't supposed to have her same reaction.
