I didn't really see it as creepy, per se, but it was definitely inappropriate. Even if he meant to return most of it, buying that kind of stuff (a TV, ffs!) for someone who has made it clear she's not interested isn't cool or normal.

What actually bugged me the most about that scene was how the hell did a 16-year-old with no job afford all that stuff? Sure his dad is the Sheriff, but they're far from wealthy. I would think most of his allowance goes toward gas and car maintenance.

I let it slide because I've been thinking since the first season, "How the fuck does he afford all of those car repairs he needs? Also new phones."

Yeah, I guess it's one of those suspension of disbelief things. We see Scott shopping at Macy's too, and while he has a job, I don't think realistically Scott and Stiles would be shopping there.
