I love Robert Carlyle and will continue to watch this show to the bitter end as long as he stays on it.

As much as I love RC and admire his work, he has to go by the script. As do all the characters. Much of the craptastic season 2 has been because Kitsis and Horowitz are churning out garbage. They have seriously screwed the series by writing crap that glosses over any serious character development or interesting plot turns. It's sad. I expected better.

It reminds me of SGU, where it really felt like he was on a completely different show than the rest of them most of them time. And his show was much more entertaining.

Athough....
SGU might have done a lot better if the writers hadn't tried to hit every AU possibility under the sun. And if the production crew had used steadier camera people- what was with the jittery, BlairWitch-y camera shots?
