I really want to vote for my neighbor countries because they have nice songs and they always vote for us, but Romania had a sparkly falsetto Dracula singing dubstep opera. How can I resist sparkly falsetto Dracula?

(Though France looks pretty good too. All I can understand is that she's singing something about hell, but it's a kick-ass melody).

I have only the vaguest knowledge of Eurovision, but I need to see that immediately.

Yay back to eurovision.

I really liked the sparkly falsetto vampire sheet thing to. And the box person. And the really intense looking bagpipe guy.

I think they saved the crazy up for today

The box person was awesome too! The singer kind of vaguely reminded me of that Teen Wolf guy. I was kind of confused for a moment about that.

There really was a lot of crazy in tonight's show, wasn't there? Glowing balls of light, the strangest wedding scene I've seen in a while, sparkly clothes, all kinds of good stuff.

yeah it was really cool.

The last semi-final was really weird I mean they were all just singing.

The box persons box was full of fingermarks, the probably forgot to clean it after the rehearsals... I did love it though!

All the Nordics got through to the final so I am happy!

Other than that, did anyone else think the songs in the second semi finale was better than in the first?

Go sucky Norway! It isn't the same when they aren't in the final!

I dunno, I only liked about 3 songs in the first one, and almost all in the second one. Though memorable might be the right word, I'm not exactly looking for quality in Eurovision, just entertainment!

Oh and I forgot to add: Norway had major technical difficulties for the first two songs, it was seriously annoying.

The first semi final was sorta... average, I think? This one had so much delightfully weird stuff, that alone made it better.

Which one are you? Norway for me if you didn't know (our song sucked, but...)

France's song is called "Hell and Me". Apparently it's about a woman in a complicated relationship with a cheater and vowing revenge, and it's rather kinky.

Case in point:

I liked Albania, but alas no finals

This is one of the times when I'm in a serious need of a happy-dancing GIF: We're in the finals!!!! (One of the rare times when I feel validated.)

In the previous semifinal there were songs I liked better (Denmark and Netherlands for example), but this semifinal had more/better visual gimmicks ("sparkly falsetto Dracula", Latvian Jedward, beautiful woman in glasses, the oldest Eurovision contestant, guy in the glass box, Greek party, our hipster) and was much more colorful.

I can't wait Saturday!

As a Romanian,the sparkly falsetto Dracula was perfect to represent us.He was really fun to watch.

He really was! If my country doesn't win, I'm definitely rooting for you guys :)
