Re: Anxiety Attack Help

I have been looking into mindfulness training, but I have not been able to join a class yet. I will look into some free mindfulness techniques. I have done only deep breathing to try and get my anxiety under control, but I know I have to work more on it.

I did pilates once and it didn't do anything for me, but maybe yoga would? I'll look into it.

Thank you for your advice!

I've never done pilates, so I cannot compare. Maybe it is just the super soothing voices that apparently all yoga teachers have. Life would be far more relaxing if we could all have our very own yoga teacher to narrate our lives.

But more seriously again, what works for me with yoga is that it is very focused on listening to your own body, your own boundaries and limitations and comes with a message that it doesn't matter if you cannot do XYZ like the person next to you, it's fine, we are all our own people. Which is always a good message to hear.
