Re: Minor things that people get wrong in fic all the time

I would agree, except that some characters look hot with their ~studious glasses~ so I don't care. And I tend to ignore the relative lack of bespectacled characters because in anime, at least, the presence of glasses generally says something about the character type.

I get what you mean, but I think in most media, people treat glasses as a prop rather than a natural consequence of having bad eyesight. Sort of like how characters never have freckles or wrinkles (or nipples) unless it's a significant part of their character design. And glasses can be a pain to draw all the time if there's no real point to it.
