That wasn't their point but, oh please, take a few words and make a big deal out of it. That person wasn't using survivors as cred or ribbons. That person was pointing out they GIVE A FUCK.

shut up.

they are saying they are qualified to talk about rape because they have worked with rape survivors. make your own damn arguments and positions without using us as props. I'm not your black friend and I'm not your charity case you're oh-so-sensitive and knowledgeable for working with. if one of my therapists or counsellors was using me to win internet arguments, that would be a violation of our relationship and an exploitation and co-opting of my experiences
