- Sorry for the late, people!
- Also... guys. Make the secrets sound like something you'd be secretive about? Just bashing things isn't a secret, it's wank. D: Thanks!

Maybe I need to finish the game or something, but it just baffles me that people think Phoenix/Edgeworth is ARE SO OBVIOUSLY GAY FOR EACH OTHER or whatever.

I don't see it.

It was 2-4 and 3-5 that HAMMERED IT HOME to me.

The second game did it for me. What with all of Phoenix's weird emo moments when Edgeworth is mentioned.

Well that was him facing what he thought was betrayal. I can see how that's platonic.

3-5, though?

Dear lord Edgeworth is gay for that man.

XD

True! I don't really ship lots of guys, but the two of them is like... so obvious I can die laughing because there still fans who bash everyone because they ship those two.

I can see where people get the idea, but overall, I think the hints are just fodder for the fangirls.

In other words, IAWTC. <3

It's not subtext if it's PAINFULLY OBVIOUS.

Normally I'm pretty good with the slash goggles, but again: not seeing it. Maybe I need to play more.

Most of the "gay" comes from the latter half of the game. I thought the idea of the pairing was stupid when I was playing through the first chunk of it too.

Case 1-3 started it, case 1-4 boosted the vibes up a few notches, 1-5 tossed another couple at you, and 2-4 just sealed the deal for me. Guy dedicates his life to another man, said man "changes" and comes back to help that man...not to mention how Lana tells them that they're two halves that complete one whole picture.

I'll admit, the appeal of it for me is less about the subtext as it is about the amount of chemistry and complexity they have both as individual characters and their interaction.

Word to this. ♥

Agree, and I have played every single AA. Yes, even the fourth one.

Be warned though - now you will have a horde of angry fangirls at your door. I feel bad for you already.

Yeah, but I feast on fangirl indignation; it is like a nectar, nay, a sweet ambrosia to me.

You played AA4?

I'm so sorry :(
